1950's powder bowl, floral design Elegant 1950's design 50's cosmetics 1950's beauty

This is a beautiful lidded powder bowl that was used to contain face powder. Attractive pale blue colour, it has a floral design to the lid. Inside is a tray holding the powder puff and below this a space for the tray of face powder. It is made of urea formaldehyde, an early plastic which provided a much wider range of colours than bakelite, although a lot of people would describe it as bakelite. Overall diameter is 10cm and the height is 3.5cm.

It has been used and so there is some light scratching but overall it is in good condition. Legislation changes mean i can no longer post to customers in the eu nor to businesses in northern ireland. Please message me if alternative arrangements can be made.

I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects, but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws. To avoid using lots of new packaging i reuse any packing materials that i receive wherever possible. I do use new packaging when necessary.
