Powder jar, powder can, Asian powder can, mirrored power can, vintage mirror powder jar

Found at the estate of the original owners. They lived on a country like estate that back in the day, would have been surrounded by farms and citrus groves.

We believe that throughout the years, many generations lived in the home. Marked with an original tag on the bottom, "made in china".

This is not your typical modern day made in china item. Measuring 4 inches x 4 inches x 1 inch. Inside measures just over 1/2 inch deep. Believed to be a powder can because it has a mirror on the inside. On the top of the lid is a raised design which looks to be some type of a dragon and floral motif.

I can't quite make it out. It is a raised design as are the sides of the can which has a decorative sign as well. In good overall condition with signs of age and use.

Outside the metal has faded/discolored, there is some patina starting in places, there are a few lighter spots and darker spots. The inside is clean with the inside bottom being scuffed and scratched presumably from use and or cleaning. The mirror is clear and in good shape with not major scratches. I do see the beginnings of some age spots forming. The lid stays on and opens and closes fine but there are a few imperfections around the edges and may need a bit of giggling to get it just right.
