Rare Vintage Legrain Paris Powder Box Hexagonal Cardboard, Lavender Scent

A lovely vintage art deco powders cardboard box from the french brand legrain. The bluix-tones box has a hexagonal shape and is made of rigid cardboard with an original six-sided overture design. Its interior is off-white and on its outer base you can read the information of the article.

With the original contents inside, . Made in france, this wonderful item is perfect to add to a treasured collection, in very good condition considering it is almost 100 years old. The text on the lower outer base reads "lavande sachet legrain paris". I have not found too much documentation although from what i have been able to find out, this item was used to freshen the scent of linen closets and drawers. Despite the inevitable signs of age, some slight signs, it is a superb collector's treasure, rare to find, and truly a box to fall in love with.
