Reuge sainte-croix blue metal musical powder box. Painted victorian scene on lid of ladies and minstrel playing lute guitar. Music box not working properly.
The song that should play is "the reveille the blue danube", according to the label attached to the bottom. A couple of musical notes will sometimes play when i move the box. I believe it is just wound too tightly and will need to be adjusted.I have not tried to repair. A lovely piece for home decor and collecting. The music box measures approximately 5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. It is in very nice physical condition 4 or 5 minor scuffs and some brown age discoloration around the sides. This vintage item will be securely packaged using recycled materials whenever possible.
