Vintage Aluminum Musical Powder Box with Pink Rose Plays the song Because

This sweet musical powder box is in nice 1930's-1940's vintage condition. It could also be used for small pieces of jewelry or rings. The aluminum has a few spots of discoloration but overall has aged well. It looks like it was designed in stripes with one more shiny and smooth and then one with texture/roughness. I'm not sure what the rose picture on the top is made of but it feels like it has a coating or covering on it.

The music seems to be working well and turns on when lid is lifted and off when set back down on the little lever. On the bottom there is a label that says the song is because. There are 3 round turned legs attached on the wood bottom. The bottom diameter measures 4 1/2 in. And the top diameter is 3 1/2 in.

The box is 3 1/4 in.
