Vintage Austria Guilloche Enamel Brass Glass Vanity Dresser Jar Box Circa 1910

This is an old guilloche enamel and hand painted dresser jar/vanity box, with part of the paper label still attached on the underside, that says "made in austria" only part of the label is still there. The top of the jar measures approximately 2-1/2" across and the jar is approximately 1-1/2" tall. The metal is brass (a magnet does not stick).

The top of the jar is brass and enamel with hand painted roses. The enamel is over a detailed machine turned design - a nice example of early 20th century guilloche. The enamel is in good condition - please use the zoom on all the pictures to judge for yourself. The brass collar of the jar is threaded so the lid screws onto the base.

The base is glass with a simple panel design. It has normal use wear, some age wear on the base but is not cracked or chipped. The brass has not been polished - it is in original found condition. Please look at all the pictures as they are a large part of the description.
