This gorgeous little case was once for cigarettes or so i suppose. The inside is just a little more than 3.5 inches long and a cigarette is usually about 3.75 to 4 inches so this case is a tad shy of that. So, maybe not for cigarettes.
On the back is a sticker that says trickettes by wiesner of miami, so i take that to be the maker. Kleenex cash no powder, mirror or puff so it's not a compact. Anyhow the rhinestones on the front look great. Nothing is turning or darkening that i can see. It opens and closes well. Inside is just the gold tone pattern. No wear inside or corrosion there. The filigree pattern under the faux pearls is a really elegant, vintage touch. I do see areas of wear and it looks like some corrosion is setting in which is sadly irreversible. But look at the sides and pictures do show this. This piece measures about 3.5 inch long on the outside and 1.75 wide. I figure this was made in the 1950s, or 1960s by trickettes by wiesner of miami. This beautiful vintage case is ready for your vanity collection.
