Stunning Mid-Century Murano Glass Vanity Jar / Powder Box. This is a museum-quality example of heavy Italian art glass, likely from the Seguso Vetri d'Arte furnace, circa 1950s. This piece stands out for its incredible density and the masterful use of bimetallic inclusions. Substantial Weight & Size: An impressive 3.6 lbs (unpacked). Measures approximately 6.5" in diameter and 4.75" tall.

Exquisite Foil Work: Profusely laden with large, sharp-edged 24k gold and silver leaf fragments that create a brilliant "shattered" shimmer. Advanced Techniques: Features a classic Bullicante (controlled bubble) pattern encased in a thick, smooth Sommerso (submerged) clear glass layer. Hand-Tooled Details: The lid is topped with a ribbed clear finial containing a gold/silver leaf core. The base of the finial features delicate, hand-pulled petal accents, a signature of high-end Venetian craftsmanship.

Collector Grade Finish: The base features a highly polished pontil mark, indicating a premium level of factory finishing. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
