This antique puff box (which we would call a powder box today) is called no. 25 manufactured by heisey glass, newark, ohio in 1910.
There were 3 sizes made and designed by andrew j. This is the largest one measuring 4.5" d x 5" h. The puff box is made of pressed glass with cut and polished tops and bottoms. The lid is a ground glass stopper. It is marked with the diamond h logo. The larger size is more difficult to find. An elegant piece for any woman's dressing table or vanity. The puff box is in excellent condition: stretch mark in bottom from manufacturing. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, broken, missing or repaired parts. This item is made of glass and polished, ground glass stopper.
