1920s Art Deco Trinket Jewelry Powder Box, Yellowstone Park 'Old Faithful' Photo, Zinc Metal, Made in USA

1920s art deco trinket jewelry/powder box, yellowstone park'old faithful' photo, zinc metal, made in usa. Scarce early collectible yellowstone park metal keepsake box used to hold jewelry/trinkets or more likely a powder box, circa 1920s. Finished in pink enamel and stamped made in u. Lid appears to be made from zinc, and is decorated with an engine-turned pattern finish. At the center of the lid is a 2 real photograph print of old faithful at yellowstone park.

Photo is protected by a thin early plastic-like celluloid covering. Quite rare, we've only seen a handful of similar items (although with different center pictures).

Measures about 4.25" in diameter at lid, and stands about 2.5" tall. Condition: enamel has chipped paint and scuffs from age, most of which is on the underside where it's not obvious.

Celluloid is lifting slightly from the geyser photograph but is not cracked or broken. Scuffs and discoloration to inside.
