1920s Celluloid Powder Jar Cotton Ball Container, Hand-Painted Lid, Art Deco Design, Vintage Vanity Bathroom

Lovely, original, 100-year old celluloid vanity jar with hand-painted lid inherited from a grandmother. Probably used to house powder, such as talc, or perhaps cotton balls. Measures 2 7/8"(w) x 2"(h) and weighs a mere 0.8 oz.

Lovely lid painting has partially faded, but appears to be an intricate floral design. We see no chips, cracks or stains on this authentic piece. A wonderful example of art deco style and elegence worthy of any vintage vanity collection.
