1940-50s Cut Glass 24kt Gold Plated Brass Powder Vanity Jar Vintage

1940-50s cut glass gold plated brass powder vanity jar vintage. This cut glass jar is housed in beautiful 24kt gold plated ornate frame. Original paper label still attached but hard to read " 24 kt gold plated-guaranteed not to tarnish" is all i can make out.

The lid has a crystal finial with replaced screw. Through research this jar is shown with either orb or cherub finial. Another item from my fabulous estate sale finds.
