Akro Agate blue slag milk glass powder dish with scotties, marbled blue milkglass dish with scottie dogs, 1939-1942

This rare piece is the base only of a powder box manufactured by akro agate between 1939-1942. The color of the glass is absolutely stunning with gorgeous marbeling of blues and a decoration of two scottie dogs facing each other on both sides.

It would make a beautiful gift for the dog lover in your life. The bowl measures approximately 4 inches in diameter at the base and narrows to approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the top. It stands approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. The bowl is missing its lid. It is in lovely vintage condition with no noticable cracks.
