Antique ABP American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Tea Caddy

A fine antique abp cut glass tea caddy. In the strawberry diamond fan pattern. Comprising a cut glass body, conforming internal cover, and cut glass lid. The lid and body each with overall cut decoration throughout.

The base has a star polished pontil mark. Simply a rare and wonderful form. It is in overall, good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There are some very minor spots of fritting to the facets here and there, a few small flakes to the foot. Otherwise, there are some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
