This is an antique ca 1920's royal epiag porcelain dresser set with tray in a hand painted nomadic bedouin on a camel egyptian motif and three ceramic powder boxes. Produced by epiag a collection of potteries created by the austrian government to promote ceramics made in bohemia. The royal epiag mark dates this piece between the two great wars 1920 and 1937. With the discovery of king tuts tomb in egypt in 1922 items with egyptian motifs became very popular with the consumer which helps us date this to around 1922. This antique ca 1920's royal epiag porcelain dresser set with tray and three porcelain powder boxes is made from the finest bohemian porcelain.

The tray is 12 inches by 8 inches and is made from thick porcelain. It has a well hand painted image of a nomadic egyptian bedouin on a camel desert sean in front of the pyramids.

It features raised rim that has been glazed red with decorative gold gilding trim. There are two lidded ceramic powder boxes each with a decorative hand painted nomadic bedouin dessert sean and red and gold gild trim.

One is slightly larger at 3.5 inches dia. And the smaller 2.5 inches dia. One would have held face powder the other rouge. It has a third open ceramic box that is 2.5 inches in diameter as well. Each features the royal epiag made in czechoslovakia pottery mark ca 1920-1937 the condition is clean excellent with no chips or cracks however there is some wear in the gilding in spots due age and use considered to be normal.

There are also some very small bubbles in the porcelain noticeable only in certain light. This is from the manufacturing during the time of its creation and is considered to be normal. This item is made of antique, porcelain, ceramic, gold gilding and pottery.
