Antique cauldon england trinket box powder jar hand painted victorian vintage pink roses vanity shabby cottage boudoir. A pretty antique cauldon england porcelain trinket, powder jar or vanity box for your dressing table.

Dating to the late 1890s, this antique victorian era box is made up of white bone china decorated with gold bands and raised gold enameled leaves accented with tiny, delicate pink roses, foliage and gold tracery. The jar measures 2.5" tall x 3.5" diameter. This is a sweet little piece, perfect to hold rings or small trinkets.

Good condition for something over 100 years old. There is some wear to the gold and there are three chips on the outer rim of the lid. The base has the "cauldon england mark".

Also marked with davis, collamore & co fifth avenue & 37th street new york. This was the retailer for whom the pattern was created for. Were importers of china, parian and bisque wares. Their showroom was a place most victorians and edwardians would go to pick out wedding china. I have the matching ring holder in a separate listing.
