Antique Cut Glass Powder Jar Sterling Lid with Cherub, Shreve and Co Art Nouveau Sterling Dresser Jar with Cherub and G Monogram
Antique art nouveau shreve & co brilliant cut glass powder dresser jar - sterling with cherub and g monogram - brilliant cut crystal dresser jar - vanity decor. Measurement: 5-1/2" across x 3-1/4" high. Presented here, is an elegant art nouveau shreve & co cut glass vanity powder jar/box. The jar is brilliant cut crystal and shows a rich yellow when held under black light.
It has a pineapple cut pattern alternating with four deep vertical cuts. The gorgeous lid features a repousse raised cherub set in a frame of flowers and curls around outer edge. Below the cherub is a script "g" monogram. Just the perfect touch for vanity or dresser.
Just a note, i love keeping small foiled candies in these beautiful jars. Perfect for any room, guest room, and office. Condition: beautiful overall antique condition.Having just the normal signs of use and age. There is one tiny ding in the lid.
On the curve, almost invisable. There flea bites to some of the cut edges, but because the crystal cuts are so deep, and refract light it was difficult to show. In normal light, they are not even seen, and just part of their 100+ year age.
Absolutely nothing that is noticeable, nor takes away from the overall viewing beauty. Be sure to view all photos.

Bubble wrap, while protective, can sometimes be too stiff for a very fragile item, and the plastic bubbles, can also leave permanent round marks on old pieces. Therefore, i order very soft cushioned pads from our local medical supply, and wrap each item first, in these protective pads, and then additional packing such as bubble wrap, and protective cardboard are added.
