Exquisite antique czech glass powder jar was made in during the 1920's and signed czechoslovakia. Art deco rare beauty has soft peach colored glass with a magnificent gold gilded open work brass jeweled cover with an intricate engraved leaf and flower border.
Bezel set glass cabochons include amethyst, pink, emerald, citrine, blue and clear facetted stones in varying shapes and sizes with small faux pearls. Its swirled amber glass knob is a gorgeous finishing touch to this unique collectible vanity powder or jewelry box. Condition: very good antique condition, normal wear from age and gentle use.
The jar rim does have several very small minor nicks along the jar rim. Marks: "made in czechoslovakia" inside lid and bottom. Measurements: 6" x 6" x 4 1/2.
