Antique French Bronze Powder Jar Miniature Portrait

Please read the description in full. Breathtakingly beautiful antique french powder jar with miniature portrait and turquoise guilloche with bronze details.

It is absolutely mind blowing how well preserved this powder jar is it looks like it was very well kept in storage all these years and almost untouched by time. The beautiful guilloche is intact, the hand painted portrait is stunning and so detailed.

The powder jar has a mirrored lid, glass body in bronze frame. Marked "france" at the bottom of the jar. Can be used as a ribbon holder, powder jar or jewelry jar. I try to describe and picture items as accurately as possible.
