Antique French Caron Powder Box. Vintage Round Powder Box. Vintage Collectible Powder Box.

I don't exactly have much to say about this powder box from french brand caron. All of it is an antique, all of it is vintage, all of it is feminine and feminist, loaded with a very special patina.

A patina that exudes a timeless delicacy. I think the photographs illustrate very well the virtues and faults of this antique caron powder box. It is very old, in addition to the label on the top of the lid in high relief in gold, it has the outside face in small beaks or pyramids also in gold. Round as you can see, in cardboard of various thicknesses and different textures this caron box is in good vintage condition.

It is empty, but still retains the labels on the base and inside the box with fine, classic calligraphy in shades of red. The inside of the base is covered in a thin brown, almost transparent paper (see photos). Although it is still very well preserved this box also shows its wear and tear. As we can see the lid is stained with dirt, with paper flaws on the edge. The gilded sides are also scratched and flawed.

On the inside as we can see on the photos it has paper that seems to have been torn or scraped. On the base it has several dirt stains but above all a large stain that also seems to be of scraped paper. All these signs of wear are also the signs that give it its antiquity and give it its unique and special patina.
