Antique French opaline glass Trinket Vanity Box R.Noirot gilded bronze stopper

Made in france this beautiful large and heavy (over 4 lb) box embellished with colorful gilt accented flowers. Made of bulle de savon opaline glass, absolutely stunning. The quality is magnificent, and the opaline glass literally glowing the box has gilded bronze finial in form of flower. Noirot, who produced bottles and vanity items in this floral pattern for the house of guerlain perfumery in a variety of popular scents. These decorated items are highly collectible today.

Measures (including the finial) 5 3/4" high, without finial 3 1/2", 4 3/4 in diameter at the opening. Good condition with very little age wear, no chips, cracks or repair.
