Antique guilloche celluloid, metal, and enameled poppies floral powder compact with mirror. This piece was used and is not perfect, but it is still very pretty and showy. We sell antique and vintage items. We disclose imperfections to the best of our ability in the description and/or in the photos for each listing. Note that vintage and antique items have been "used" and will show wear from age. Vintage items are rarely in brand new, pristine condition items may have discoloration, fading, evidence of use, and yes, maybe some dust, dirt or grime.

We do try to clean items without damaging them. We are not professional photographers, but we do try to color-correct the photos and make the colors as accurate as we possibly can. We try our best to feature all sides of an item, so please do examine the photos closely. Please use your best judgment in using antique and vintage items.

However, some vintage items, such as books, dinnerware, and kitchenware are meant to be used and enjoyed. Please look at all photos carefully and be sure to ask any questions and/or request additional photos. The latter offers extended layaway terms as well. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, we will un-reserve the item. We are more than happy to work with you if you need more time, but we ask that you communicate with us. This policy does not apply to heavy or large items (for example, furniture).

We use new or recycled, clean boxes and packing materials. This is a standard practice at any antique store or estate sale that you will ever visit in person.
