Antique Hotel de Ville, Brussels Pill or Powder Box, Hotel Silver

Wonderful antique silverplate pill box from the hotel de ville, brussels. These would have been given to the hotel's guests as keepsakes or put in their guest rooms.

The lid of the box has repousse with the exterior of the hotel and the hotel's name. It opens to a mirrored side to use for powder originally, but can now function as a pill box. It measures 1-3/4" by 1-3/4" and is in excellent condition. A wonderful little hotel keepsake that's functional as well. This item is made of silverplate, silver plate and glass.
