Antique limoges powder jar trinket box hand painted pink roses victorian floral shabby cottage chic. This is a gorgeous antique victorian limoges porcelain powder jar or trinket box. The jar features hand painted pink roses against a yellow, blue and white ombre background, embellished with a a raised gilt enamel rococo border. The outer surface of the dish is covered with an opalescent green lustre finish. This would make a fine addition to your antique porcelain collection or use as intended on your dressing table.

I used to keep cotton swabs on my bathroom vanity. The jar measures 4.5" diameter x 2.5" tall. Has the green limoges france underglaze whiteware mark.

There are no other markings or signatures present. Condition: very good pre-owned condition. There is some light wear to the gilding from use. One of my favorite pieces for the dressing table. Unfortunately, i do not have any other matching pieces.
