Dating to the victorian era, this antique box is made up of white porcelain decorated with an all over turquoise blue background with alternating reserves featuring hand painted pink and purple flowers, all accented with delicate hand applied raised white, pale pink and burgundy red moriage enameling, resembling cake frosting. The center has thickly applied burgundy red and turquoise blue enameled jewels. " this antique powder box is about 2.5" tall and 5 in diameter.

Someone must have treasured this and used it often as the wear is consistent with age and usage. The box does have three chips on the rim of the base, please see photos, and a several enameled "jewels" are missing. Fair condition for something over 100 years old.
