Antique PARFUM GODET ARTISTIC powder box c.1912

This rare antique powder box is made of green/blue (teal) ribbed fabric like material covered paper in a trapezoid shape. The godet perfumery was founded in paris in 1901. The artistic parfum godet logo which is so beautifully designed in gold letters in a circle in the middle of the box lid indicates that the box contained a powder that was scented with the house's artistic perfume which was launched in 1912.

There is also a sticker "blanche" (white) indicating the powder colour. The bottom part is a darker shade of the same colour. It is in very good condition fot its age with some overall wear especially around the edges and some small spots of discoloration. It measures 8.5 x 7.5 (larger width) x 4 cm (3.34 x 2.95 x 1.57 inches). I do my best to describe it as accurately as possible.
