Antique Petit Point Trinket Pot Embroidered Silk Lid, English Vanity Decor

Lovely petit point embroidered silk top on this little lidded pot, originally part of a larger vanity set, most likely intended for the storage of face powder, cream or for trinkets. Dating from around 1910, most likely made in england by regent of london but similar were also made in germany. The metal lid is gold in colour most likely gold plated, which has around the edge and rim of the lid. Lovely and clear and clean and ready for use, the pot has no damage, the inside the of the lid has signs of age wear as shown in the video. Items will always be packed with exceptional care, usually double boxed, using clean repurposed card and paper as well as strong paper packaging tape - all of which can be recycled. Fragile items will also be wrapped carefully in good quality brand new bubble wrap. I will always cover the parcel for loss or damage in transit if the worst should happen.
