A very pretty antique powder box with its original puff. Art nouveau, made in pewter in the late 19th century. The design is a lovely embossed woman's head, she has her hand raised to her face.

The sides have an embryonic leaf design. The box is quite a large size and would make a wonderful dressing table piece. The lid is a drop fit. It has a few small dents, and a tiny split in the edge of the lid.
