Antique Pozzoni Powder Box 1920s White Embossed Copper Vanity Tin, Victorian Cosmetic Container
Antique pozzoni powder box dating to the early 1920s, patented july 1912. This original cosmetic container is made of copper with its white painted finish still present and features raised decorative embossing around the body and lid, with pozzoni embossed on the top. A true survivor of early vanity and cosmetic history, this piece shows authentic age and character including paint loss, staining, oxidation, and a small area of green paint splatter. The hinged lid has metal fatigue and tearing at both hinge points (see photos).
The lid requires gentle pressure to close but does remain shut once closed. Because of its condition and age, this piece is best suited for display or collection, not daily use.
