Antique Signed Sevres Type Porcelain Cobalt Ground Hand Painted Dresser Box PC

A fine antique sevres type porcelain dresser box. Decorated to the lid with a depiction of a woman and cherub amidst a field of flowers.

With extensive gilt highlights throughout. Hand painted flowers adorn both the exterior and interior of the box.

Artist signed "dolys" in the hand painted scene. Simply a lovely antique porcelain box.

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. There are numerous cracks to the lid. Otherwise, there are some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Signed dolys to the lid by the artist and marked to the base with a (faux) sevres makers mark. Please see our other related items.
