This is an adorable antique victorian jewelry trinket jar or box fairing with lid. The cover has a crown, sword and scepter.

The heavy staffordshire porcelain box is in very good condition, with a couple of little chips to the tiny applied rosettes. This type of little covered box was often given as a friendship or love token souvenir gift in the late 1800's.
