Bohemian glass powder jar, enamelled and hand painted orange cased glass, antique art deco, circa 1930, 4 x 4, excellent condition. In truly excellent condition for its circa 90+ years. No cracks or chips and minimal wear to the enamel and gold gilt detailing.

The photos show where the gold gilt at the very tip of the lid finial has worn but this does not detract from this totally striking and unique antique piece. The lid and base have been embellished by hand with an enamel and paint worked star and berry pattern in red, green and black. Almost certainly made in czechoslovakia around the early 20th century due to style, shape and quality of the beautiful deep orange glass powder jar and lid.
