Chrome and Glass Art Deco Powder Puff Holder Teal Blue by Chase Companies Vintage Jewelry Holder

Vintage art deco powder puff dish in chrome and either bakelite or catalin. This would work perfectly on your vanity as a trinket dish or dresser box. Beauty and function combined the interior is frosted glass, and has an art deco flower design in teal blue enamel on the top of the lid with a brown knob. The metal has patina and wear to the enamel. The interior base bottom has some spots. The metal on the lid has a dent about 3/4 inch long. This was made by chase companies of waterbury, connecticut, probably in the 1930s or 1940s. Chase was known for making quality products at a good price. The bottom is stamped with the chase symbol, a centaur with a bow and arrow. The centaur is a creature from greek mythology with the upper body of a human and the lower body and legs of a horse.

Approximately 4.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall to top of knob. Has a very solid feel and weighs about 1 pound.
