Chunky clear cut crystal powder jar in a medium size of 3.75" high x 3.75" wide. Dating based on style and cut to the late 1980's or 1990's. The top of the jar has a huge clear cut crystal huge knob finial in the shape of a wheel or cog on its side. There are a lot of faceted cuts to this glass in upward pointing shapes across the lid, base and finial - it may even be pressed in a way to give the appearance of cut crystal it is very had to tell.

There is a 12 pointed star on the underneath of the base. The crystal gives a reassuring high pitched chime when the lid clinks with the base. In immaculate vintage condition, absolutely no chips, scratches, nibbles, cracks, flea bites or clouding of the crystal.

A smaller size that would accommodate a small powder puff and powder beautifully, might alternatively be used for other cosmetic toiletry storage. Items will always be packed with exceptional care, usually double boxed, using clean repurposed card and paper as well as strong paper packaging tape - all of which can be recycled.
