This beautiful cut glass dish has a variety of uses: powder dish, trinket dish, candy dish. It is unusual with its companion tray underneath. The red bead on top is bakelite which was a precursor to plastic at the turn of the last century. This dates the dish from the 1920's-1930's. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. A few minuscule flea bites on the inside rim, you really have to look hard to see them. The metal lid & dish don't have any dents or dings. The lid has a few very small scuffs but due to the reflection off the metal i can't get a good picture of it. Again, you really have to put your eyes on to see it. Dish is 6 in diameter. Bowl is 4 1/2 in diameter, 1 1/2 tall.
