Glass Powder Box Jar With Celluloid Bakelite Lid, In Floral Pastel Colors Art Nouveau Vintage 20s 30s
A nice antique powder jar with ornate glass body and either bakelite or celluloid lid made in the 20s to 30s. The lid is in pastels with light gold background and pastel blue, red, and yellow flowers in an art nouveau like pattern. The rim of the lid looks copper toned.
The glass body is decorative with raised ribbing that flare to one side or the other almost looking like flower petals. The jar can be used for vanity storage with cotton balls or for trinkets or jewelry. Measurements: 2 1/4" tall by 4 1/2" diameter.
Condition: previously owned, lid has some tarnish in one area, no chips or cracks.
