Absolutely gorgeous vintage powder jar with an elaborate jeweled lid. It's a brassy metal with applied stamped filigree rising to flower petals in the center, studded with vivid and sparkling bezel set glass stones and faux pearls in different shapes and sizes. Crowned with a glass faux turquoise bead "flower" in the center topped with a piece of jeweled filigree. So elaborate the jar is cut paneled glass with a star cut bottom. I find no marks anywhere, but it looks czechoslovakian or possibly austrian to me. The inside of the lid has an unusual streaky finish, which might be concealing a mark. The jar measures 4" high with the lid and about 5" in diameter. I have looked and looked and i can't find anything to complain about except the inside of the lid -- it looks to be in excellent condition. This item is made of glass and metal, rhinestones, faux pearls.
