Iittala Carnival Glass Diamond Point Columns Powder Box

There is some confusion about the diamond point columns pattern and who made it. The mike carwile book on carnival glass shows this powder box under the dpc name, saying he had thought the pattern might have been made by u. Glass or iittala in finland before evidence turned up that it was made by an american depression glass house (jeannette, hazel atlas or both). But the pattern on this powder box is different from the jeannette/hazel atlas dpc pattern. Perhaps iittala made this one after all, in which case the name should be changed.

It is different from the depression dpc, which does have a few pieces in marigold carnival.
