Limoges Portrait Dresser Box Jewelry Casket Vanity Jar Signed

A stunning art nouveau period hand painted porcelain dresser jar or powder box by delinieres co limoges france. This fabulous vanity jar is a pale sunshine yellow with applied gold gilt scroll and blue enameling. The center is a beautiful image of a young blonde woman in a white dressing gown. Interior is a pink or pale lavender color, note top lid has two chips on interior rim edge, can not be detected from outside and lid still fits fine. Artist signed ella phipps and dated. Green d & co france limoges mark designating delinieres & company.

Bottom is further signed with the name ella phipps and dated 2/96 for february 1896. Measures: 5.5" across, stands 3" tall. Large jar, see image next to soda can. Interior has two chips to lid (see last image) not visible from outside, does not detract from appearance nor any issues with the top fitting the base in any way. Enamel and image are still well intact with minimal wear to the piece.

The style is victorian and art nouveau.
