Pair of 1930s Art Deco powder bowls antique vintage

Here is a pair of very stylish antique 1930s powder bowls with a wonderful art deco design. They have stepped, circular bases decorated with black enamelled paint and each has a diamond shaped phenolic/catalin knob to the lid (please note that these early plastic sections have not been tested to establish the exact type of early plastic).

Each measures 5" inches across by approximately 3" inches inches high. They are in excellent overall condition for their age, with minor signs of wear to the black enamel painted surface in places. Please see all the photos and zoom in for details.
