RARE ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN Powder Bottle with Cherub

The most adorable and rare find. Excellent condition - no chips/cracks/crazing. By far one of the most adorable pieces that i've seen come out of victorian austria the m & z stamp dates this piece to before 1909 and it is signed mary-jane dec.

Normally a cherub at this time would be in a renaissance style but this beauty is a delightful cartoonish baby with an agenda. Their hands are hiding something, oh so innocently. Tiny wings, sprouted hairs, all hand painted in a great light peach tone. There are bows, and hearts making an oval around this cameo cupid.

4.5" tall 3" wide.
