Rare mcm mid century modern. Atomic style 1940s googly eye santa claus dusting powder container box extremely rare. I have never been able to find another. I believe this was a store counter display for christmas.

(box with powder weighs 6.8 oz). Super cute santa bath dusting powder box is 5 1/8" high and base is 2 5/8" x 3 1/8.

Vintage santa claus box has a ribbon that wraps over the top and down one side with a pink tassel attached. Bottom has been reattached very little if any powder used.

When bottom is tapped tiny puffs of powder come out of two tiny spots. Box has no dents or dings. Some edge wear and scuffs (plenty of pictures to check out). Graphics are in very good condition. Rare elizabeth arden dusting/body powder box.

This would be a collectors dream. Elizabeth arden's famous and much maligned perfume blue grass. Created sometimes around 1934 or 1936, the perfumer is george fuchs (of fragonard).
