A rare and exquisite piece made by shelley, england. The contrast of the soft lilac purple of the exterior and the light green interior with black outlining is fabulous.

Primary purpose was to be used as a powder bowl (jar), back in the 20's-30's. Today, it would be perfect as a candy dish, a trinket bowl, a console dish and a jewelry dresser box.
