Silver powder perfume container, vintage mid century silver 0.900 Arabic powder box

This is a vintage silver box with hallmark 0.900 silver also known as coin silver. It was made in the middle of the xx century. It is kept in a very good condition, without damages. By the information found online and the research i made by myself there were discovered two explanations of the primary use f these silver boxes, one as a powder box and another as a container for arabic oil perfumes. The diameter of the box is 8 cm (3.15'').
