Sterling Powder Vanity Jar by Birks

This birks sterling and crystal powder or vanity jar was made in the first half of the 20th c. It is a large piece measuring 4.5 inches in diameter. The lid is beautifully engraved with swirling plumes and a cartouche with the initials jcf.

The lid fits perfectly to the base and is the original lid. The base has a cross hatch design and the bottom has a radiating star motif. The crystal is in perfect condition and the silver lid is also free of damage. This item is made of sterling, silver and crystal.
