Sterling Silver Engraved Top Powder Dresser Vanity Jar Antique

This is an antique engraved sterling silver top glass vanity or dresser powder jar. The jar is about 3-1/2" wide, about 3-1/4" high and is marked on the top sterling 1729. Sterling top weighs 41.7 g or 26.8 dwt. There is no maker's mark. There is elegant scroll engraving on the top with a deco style monogram that looks like la.

The glass jar has a star on the bottom. The jar and silver top are in very good antique condition. The lid is slightly loose on the top. There are a couple of shallow, very minor dings on the side of the sterling top, and they are so shallow that they do not show up in photos. There are a few tiny spots on the inside of the lid which is impressed 30.
