This charming vintage talcum powder tin dates from the 1940's. It once held "apple blossom bouquet" talcum powder.
It's pink on one side and off-white on the other, both sides features a pretty printed bouquet of roses, forget me nots, a gardenia and a carnation. The print was probably used for sever la different fragrances. It's marked byron distributor fifth ave bldg. The shaker lid is dark tin. This tin measures 7" tall including the lid, 3" wide and 2 deep. The condition is quite good with age appropriate wear including some discolouration on the lid, some minor scuffs and scratches but overall quite presentable. There is a slight depression in the tin where the lid fits on, i haven't tried to remove or adjust the lid. It has been gently wiped clean with a damp cloth. The colours are sweet and unfaded. Truly a lovely decorative piece for a vintage bathroom, vanity or boudoir. Tracking is included via canada post tracked packet.Props shown in the photos are not included.
