Towle E P Gold Dresser Powder Jar Art Deco Mirror Lid

This antique powder jar is crystal bowl with a silverplate lid. The lid has stamped on the underside of the rim "towle e p". The lid has an elegant art deco floral design, and the underside of the lid has a beautifully intact mirror with the label "tarnish-resistant clean with damp cloth/ no silver polish/ japan".

The lid is weighty, and has and there is surface wear in the silverplate (see last photo), as well as the patina of a near century of existence. The crystal base is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or surface wear, but flow mark on side, which would have been from the making of it.

The jar is 4" in diameter with the lid, and 2" high with the lid on. This item is made of crystal and silverplate.
