Large 19th century french faceted crystal jar with sterling silver topper. Beautiful crystal jar with an elegant beaded design adorning the edge of the sterling silver topper. The top fits snuggly and two hallmarks can be found around the lower edge. One is the minerva stamp indicating that the bottle was fabricated after 1838.

The second is the maker's mark. The base displays a beautiful starburst pattern cut into the crystal. The jar measure 3 1/4 in diameter at the base by 4 3/8 high.

The lid id 3 5/8 in diameter at its widest. The jar is in beautiful condition. There is the faintest of dents on the topper, but it is very discreet. If like me you are a fan of pretty vanity accessories, check my store for other items. This item is made of crystal and sterling silver.
