Vintage 1930's Dubarry Rapture Talcum Powder and Vanessa Soap Gift Box Bath And Beauty Talc

This is a beautiful gift box set by dubarry containing rapture talc and vanessa soap. The box is decorated with flowers and has a ribbon attached to the inside so that the lid stays open. The inside of the lid has a die cut lady holding a parasol and packages. Patent number to the bottom is 461087 which was applied for in 1935 and approved in 1937. It relates to the desi cardboard image being able to stand proud of the lid.

The talc is in a a glass bottle with a rising sun design at the bottom left of the bottle, with rays emanating up to the neck. It has a blue colouring. Metal screw top lid with original sifter/shaker to top. The soap has a butterfly design to front and is encased in its protective wrapper. The gift box is in good vintage condition, unused.

There is some light wear to the box mainly to the edges. Talc bottle is intact, no chips or cracks. Soap has protective wrapper present.

This item is made of cardboard, glass, talc and soap.
